CMA Fest is already up and running, and I just finished co-hosting the 3^rd annual Country Weekly fashion show, which was a blast!

A few things have been added to my schedule this week, so I wanted to update you:

-Open only to the winners from the Bob Kingsley Countdown Show

Friday, June 12^th: Autograph Booth Signings at the Expo Center

-Carl Black Booth (near Sommet Center) from 11am – 12pm

-GAC Booth from from 12pm-1pm

-Digital Rodeo Booth from 1pm – 2pm

-AFN (Artist & Fan Network) Booth from 2pm – 3pm

-Warner Brothers Nashville Booth from 3pm – 5pm

Sunday, June 14^th: Autograph Booth Signings at the Expo Center

-CMT Booth from 10am – 11am

-Microsoft Booth from 11am – 12pm

Riverfront Stage Performace: 1:45pm – 2:15pm

Happy Mother’s Day!

To my mom, and all the other mom’s out there. Make sure you let your mom know how much she means to you today!

Just wanted to stop by for a second and check in. Things are still rolling, I’m still running around the country re-visiting old friends at country radio and meeting new ones. The single had a big jump for me the week before last, and I’m in the Top 40! So exciting!

Some of these shows I’m doing are for the stations only, but I wanted to let you guys know about the shows coming up that are open to the public if you’re in the area:

5/15 – Detroit, MI – the Hoedown…full band show, can’t wait!

5/30 – Tampa, FL – opening for Travis Tritt, how cool!

6/14 – Nashville, TN – CMA Fest Riverstages Show

6/18 – Colorado Springs, CO – don’t have details yet but call KCCY for more information

I’m also participating in a another great part of CMA Fest – since it is all about fan appreciation! On Friday, 6/12 I will be at the Expo Center signing autographs and will be at the CMT booth from 11-Noon and the GAC Booth from Noon-1. So come on by and say hello!

We’re working on my summer tour schedule as we speak, so there will be many, many more dates to come…and I can’t wait to see you all!

We have finally picked my album cover, and that new website is still coming, I promise! We just got a little delayed because I ended up doing a new photo shoot. There will be goodies – like winning an advance copy of the record – so stay tuned! I think we’re now looking at an early July album release date because of these few delays…but it’ll be here before we know it. I can’t believe how quickly spring has flown by!

I’ve been doing A LOT of video blogging as well…so keep an eye on my YouTube channel and my Facebook…and as always check back here for more info. Things are about to start picking up!

Hey everyone!

It’s been a little while since I’ve blogged, and I apologize. Things have gotten very busy, and very good busy! My first single was released 3 weeks ago and things are starting to blur a bit already. J Country radio is awesome – so many stations added me to their playlists early, and more and more are adding me each week. If you haven’t heard the single on your  station yet, give them a call and put in your request!

To give my thanks, I’m running around the country playing acoustic shows – so keep your ears tuned to your local station. I just might be coming your way! I played in my hometown, good ol’ Kansas City last week and the show was a blast. It’s so good to playing live again!

I’m doing a radio show in Los Angeles this week, and then I’m headed to Las Vegas for the ACM Awards this weekend. I’m attending as a spectator, but I will be walking the red carpet which is always fun. I just picked out my dress…I love awards shows and having an excuse to play dress up!

I also have to thank CMT and GAC for adding my video right away. I just watched the GAC Top 20 Countdown – and the BLM video is number 13! That was quite a surprise, and that means you guys are voting for it, which is awesome! If you’d like to vote for me, you can visit either channel’s websites:

I have a handful of things to share, starting with the most exciting for me – it’s almost time for the “Boy Like Me” video to be released!

On Tuesday, March 3^rd, the video will go on sale on iTunes, and the same day, AOL will exclusively be premiering the video on their music page – http://music.aol.com - and possibly on their front page. THANKS AOL!

After that, be on the lookout for the video to be added to CMT and GAC’s playlists and sites soon!I can’t wait for everyone to see it. It’s a very different video than I’ve ever made, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

 In other news, the pace is rapidly picking up day by day! The single officially goes to radio March 9^th, and before that I’m doing a lot of interviews and press to support the launch next week during CRS here in Nashville – the Country Radio Seminar – and after that, of course.

I’m already getting amazing support from a bunch of stations, and I can’t thank them enough…hopefully in person very soon!

 I have been added to Kansas City Q104’s Birthday Bash lineup on March 26^th, opening for Little Big Town. I can’t wait to start playing with a band again (which I’ve got lined up and they are amazing guys!) – not to mention in my hometown, which is always a blast. For those in the area, I’m told the only way to get tickets is to win them, so best of luck to those who want to go and try to score a ticket. I would love to see as many familiar faces as I can…which I suppose won’t be tough in my hometown…but you know what I mean. J

 I will be doing another quick photoshoot in the near future, and of course will have my trusty handheld flipcam to get behind the scenes footage. This will continue everywhere I go so maybe you can feel like you’re coming along with me. More behind the scenes stuff being added to my YouTube channel in the near future.

 I have a few other great pieces of news to share…but not just yet. So keep checking back for all the latest. There’s more cool stuff happening every day!
